Only six days until Harry Potter opens! We can't wait!!

. . . with another name. Why? After I couldn't use beccabags anymore (alleged trademark issue), I briefly entertained Odessa Gypsy Bags. The name was mysterious, but a lot of people gave it the thumbs down. Then I tried to expand mungo.etsy, with the dolly clothes, to include the bags with Mungo Village. Again, sadly no one liked Mungo :(   My co-workers (an openly frank group) let me know in no uncertain terms, it was a bad name. OK. The negative feedback of the name and the economy has taken the fizz out of my bag sewing. Bags parts are in pieces in my studio and bag ideas continue to swirl in my head without an outlet. So, I will try again with www.MyButtonBag.com, to debut in August.

Summer outside projects in the warm, bright sun are on the agenda today.

Adventures with Rit dye was the event in the kitchen today. The dress this Momoko doll is wearing started out white, now it is an ultra cool wine color. It matches perfectly with the mustard yellow color sweater I knit for her too. If only I could dress this nice, ha :) Momoko (I am not good at naming dolls) has made friends with Five the 'family pet dog'. They are buddies since they are the same size.

I love to silk screen! What can I print on next? Images are drying all over my house, waiting to finished into this and that. There just isn't enough hours in a day for all the creative projects I want to do.

I finally got the sleeves in this dress, and it is so cute! Now, only if Blythe had blue/turquoise hair . . .

knitting fun

I love this little dress. If I could only make one in my size. I don't think I have the patience to make one big enough for me, then to find it doesn't fit me ;( This little dress fits Blythe perfect, along with her cool little shoes!

When my dad closed his photo studio, he gave me his big button/mirror maker. It is so fun to cut out images and, viola!- press a mirror. It makes 3.5 inch diameter mirrors. Send me an image, I'll make you a mirror!

Five the dog is the latest amigurumi. He is waiting to make a new friend.

Tomorrow I am back to work. I have had a knitting, crocheting, and sewing fest this week. The more I make things, the more I want to make things! There is never enough time!

Knitting, knitting, knitting . . . I'm so happy knitting!

The doll clothes section of Mungo Village has new outfits for Blythe, Ellowyne Wilde, and Tyler Wentworth. I am having fun here in my little hermit house sewing and knitting.
